Pro expo designed and built the Vandewiele stand
VANDEWIELE, a market leader in the textile sector, chose Pro Expo as their go-to provider for the second time at the ITMA exhibition that hosted 1,700 exhibitors and an impressive 120,000 visitors from 147 countries.
Entrusting our expert teams with both the design and build of their stand and the conceptualisation of the space, making even the most extravagant and ambitious designs a reality. The result: yet another perfectly executed stand, with every detail taken into consideration.
VANDEWIELE booth numbers:
– 17-day assembly time.
– 42 trailers.
– 70 people involved in assembly process, including carpenters, electricians, painters, glaziers, audiovisual technicians, architects, project managers, etc.
– 1,300 m2 total stand area.
– 2 hospitality areas.
– 1 kitchen servicing both floors.
– 1 Cyber Room, cinema, and VR presentations for 15 people.
– 1 Academy, conference rooms.
– 9 meeting rooms, 2 of which modular.
– Exhibit with 9 machines creating a variety of products in real-time.
– 6 reception displays with 8 iPads.
Both the design and production teams kick-started the process, working hand-in-hand with the client to bring about a 2-story space that would do the impressive company’s name and brand true justice.
Once the design was agreed on, our project managers pulled out all the stops to produce all the necessary elements, coordinating the various suppliers involved in the build as a whole, and the creation of the individual spaces within.
17 days before the fair opens, the build began, in keeping with a previously agreed plan. The handover of the stand took place two days before the start of the event.
On the ground floor was the entrance to the machine and materials exhibit. Here, the many functionalities of Vandewiele’s technology were showcased: creation of table linen, designer rugs, silk handkerchiefs and car mats, among others. The Arabic-influenced bar, open to the public, was also located in this area, with its traditionally shaped windows, lamps and wall fittings, which reflected onto the carpet beautifully.
On the second floor were a number of meeting areas, a minimalist yet contemporary VIP bar and the screening room. All the seating was upholstered with a both delicate yet sumptuous fabric produced by the exhibitor themselves.
VANDEWIELE’s stand of 1,300m2 was a resounding success in every sense. The team at Pro Expo is pleased to have been able to exceed the customer’s expectations yet again, particularly in a project of this magnitude.
